  1. Good Morning Mike,

I hope you’re well. My name is Alicia and I’m a business student at LJMU, I am currently writing my first assignment and part of it is about ‘what role does the university play’ and I found your article ‘Why are universities important’ which caught my eye and I have extracted notes from. I can see the article was written in 2013 and with our ever changing technology, I was just wondering if your thoughts may have altered from the original article or if you have any new thoughts on the role and importance of a university and how they are beneficial, what effects they have on our society or any information you don’t mind me using to perhaps reference or quote in my assignment. I understand this is a big ask, I appreciate any advice you can offer.

    Kind Regards,

    Alicia Oliver
